From 06/07/2022 to 06/10/2022 the "who is who" of mobile and 6G experts met in Grenoble, France to talk about connectivity for a sustainable world.

The Hannover Messe Industrie 2022, functioning as a knowledge and networking platform under the main theme "Industrial Transformation", once again invited to the big get-together in Hannover this year.

On May 21st & 22nd, the VDE Summercamp 2022 took place in the CVJM Zentrum Johannishöhe Otterberg.

"5G Lösungen und 6G Ausblick", under this main topic, the 26th VDE/ITG Mobile Communication Conference took place at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences on May 18th and 19th 2022.

"1,000Gbps, 0.1msec and AI everywhere: 6G is not a no-brainer" was the motto at the German ict+ media academy on May 18th 2022, where representatives of the Open6GHub held a panel discussion on the topic "Geht ohne KI nicht so viel bei 6G".

The 7th IEEE 5G++ Summit was held in Dresden on May 12 2022, at which the Open6GHub was represented at the booth of the 6G Platform Germany.

The second consortium meeting of the Open6GHub project took place in Kaiserslautern from 26.04 – 28.04.2022.

The Open6GHub aims to create a 6G vision for Germany and Europe and, in combination with scientific and technical developments, develop this vision into a holistic system architecture. 

The project "Open6GHub" develops a 6G vision for sovereign citizens in a hyper-connected world from 2030. The aim of the Open6GHub is to provide contributions to a global 6G harmonization process and standard in the European context. We consider German interests in terms of our societal needs (sustainability, climate protection, data protection, resilience, ...) while maintaining the competitiveness of our companies and our technological sovereignty. Another interest is the position of Germany and Europe in the international competition for 6G.
