Review of the Beyond Cellular Workshop

The workshop took place from March 5 to 6, 2025, at the University of Bremen in the DIGITAL HUB INDUSTRY Bremen as part of the cooperation initiative “Open6G Hub Meets Industry”.
In this workshop, we discussed the technological concepts that are crucial for the future of 6G. The goal was to evaluate their practical applicability, analyze their relevance for standardization, and develop concrete recommendations for action.
The following topics were focused:
- 3D and NTN in 6G
- Network-in-Networks
- Nomadic Networks
Open6GHub Meets Industry is a series of events through which the Open6GHub research project promotes direct collaboration and exchange with selected industry partners. Together, we aim to advance the development of 6G in Germany and worldwide. The focus is always on the future practical applications of 6G.
